T.C. Boyle Colloquium

I went to the T.C. Boyle Colloquium, and I'm happy that I went. He was a great personality. I'd never witnessed a short story reading like his. He was really into it; it was a full-fledged performance. He could've been an actor.
I found what he had to say about writing helpful. He mentioned something that seems could get overlooked fairly easily: That stories should be fun, entertaining. It was pleasant to hear him say that. I could tell that he was living it, too. He seemed to be enjoying himself and having a raw, simple type of fun talking about writing.
